Johnny B's Last Week

Thank you so much to everyone who came out last Wednesday to Johnny B's - w had a super fun show with Williford. If you are looking for a great place to play in the area, I highly recommend checking it out, or just go to see some live music.

The owners are super welcoming and nice. Trent did a great captaining the ship the night we were there. We will be returning to enjoy some more music soon.

If you didn't make it and would like to watch the show from the comfort of your cozy home, you can check out the livestream here - https://www.instagram.com/p/CrPu9cUIXYL/

Winter News - New Band Members and An Upcoming Show

Hello there!

Slowly but surely, we have been making time for music once again. Towards the end of 2022, we started looking for the missing links to our new northern Northerlies line-up, and have found some new members that are a great fit.  We are happy to welcome Tim Kelly (bass) and David Avery (drums) to the band.

We finally have a show on the books, as well. We will be playing on Wednesday, April 19th at Johnny B's in Medford, so come out and see us if you can, we'd love to see you there! We will be playing with Williford (Tim and David happen to be in this band together coincidentally as well). Check them out here - https://williford.bandcamp.com/

Looking forward to spring and more live music!

Happy What Year?

Ok, I'm like a broken (non-new) record over here with my "this is the year!" business, but we have officially moved 3 out of 5 of the band members to scenic Ashland, Oregon. While our hearts live long in the Bay Area, we are excited about our new musical compound up here, and opportunities to have more time for music now that the junior Northerlies members are off to the land of public education.

If anyone has any requests for covers, Becky will gladly take them for some much needed practice back in the studio. If your requests are spam about how we should totally buy new car insurance/warranties, or how to lose 200lbs in one week, that doesn't count. This host site is kinda bad with the spam comments.

We'd be thrilled to hear from actual people, just like you, reading this with your human eyes.

More to come soon!

Happy New Year!

Hello friends!

The last lil' while has been busy juggling life, small kiddies and moving around, but we are still here, hoping for sun-shiny days ahead with music, shows and more in-person fun ahead! May 2021 bring everyone health, happiness and only good things.

Winter Wonderland

Well, out here on the west coast we don't really get snow, but it's been great getting into the holiday spirit now that it's December!  Every year is seems to sneak up on us faster and faster.  The New Year's resolution for 2017 will be to make more music happen for sure.  But for now, here's a little holiday cheer we are sending your way.  The Northerlies wish you the best season ever, in whatever weather you wish for!

Rough demos

Hey everyone!

In light of the very busy days of all of us in Northerlies land, I thought it might be nice to post a couple of rough demos here, since that's all that can make it to the surface these days. Here's to hopes of having a little more time to squeeze in more polished versions of songs in the near future.  I heard a rumor that when you have your second child (very soon), you suddenly have LOADS of free time for music making, so that's what I am banking on.

Here is a song called "Thunder and Sunny Days," which is still very much in the works, and may end up with a completely different feel in the end. But for now, here you go!

We'll be sure to post another new one in the next week or two!
