Our Story
The Northerlies are Ashland, Oregon based music makers with a fondness for daydreaming and faraway places. Through a love for soulful melodies and a sparkle in the eye for all things beautiful and interesting, our songs range from melancholic breaking hearts to peppy outer-space fantasies with guest robots. After the release of our debut album, The Great Escape, in 2013, we took a bit of a break playing live shows due to busy schedules and kid-having. A few years on, half of the band relocated north, collected some new members and have began playing again.
